Board rules

These rules are disclosed to clarify the various responsibilities of all community members here on EmuDev Community. They shall be adhered to by everyone to ensure that our board runs smoothly and provides a fun and productive experience for all of our community members and visitors.

  1. Staff standards

    1. Staff members will never ask for your account information/personal information. #
    2. Administrators will always have the final decision on disciplinary actions towards members. Do not complain about getting banned, the accounts on this website are free. do not complain about other users being banned, in the forums or on profile pages of other users. #
    3. Moderators’ and the Administrator’s decisions are final. If you are in doubt about a post, please contact a Moderator before you submit your post. Membership of the forum can be revoked by the forum administration without any reason being given. Moderators reserve the right to delete any questionable posts pending additional request for documentation. #
    4. All staff members are to remain neutral towards every individual member, any staff found in violation of this will have their staff rank removed, and will no longer be eligible to become staff again. #

  2. Material

    1. Do not post material that is hateful or mean towards race, religion, sex, or any other offensive nature. You can debate religion and politics in the forum, but you can do so WITHOUT being mean or hateful about it. Do not post lewd or offensive content, or links to lewd or offensive content. Keep everything Safe for Work, and remember that kids visit the website. No excessive swearing or language. If you're that angry about something, take a break from the forums for a while, or confront the other user directly instead of in the forums. We hold the right to take administrative action without notice. #
    2. No "flaming" or "badgering" writing hostile or insulting messages aimed at other users for their views, comments, status as a user on the site, or any other reason. You can disagree with someone's views and still be polite about it. No "spamming" We also classify "spam" as short replies (usually fewer than 7 words) which do not contribute to a forum thread in a positive manner. Do not post for the sake of forum post count. Your posts will be removed if we see you posting unhelpful or non-contributing messages to our site. #
    3. Do not post any personal information about you or anyone else. We don't want to know your street address. Posting personal information about yourself, or others will result in punishment based on the severity of the offense #
    4. Links must not be shortened using shortening sites like bitly, shortenit, This is a safety/security risk. Readers should not click on shortened links or links that may be questionable. EmuDev is not liable for any damage done to your computer, or project files because you as a member clicked a suspicious link. We will always do our best to keep the forum clean. Members found guilty of posting dangerous links will be subject to account termination. #
    5. If you are posting material/content that you are not the original owner/creator, please show respect where it is owed. If no owner can be determined please reference the site where the material/content was found. No body likes their hard work being stolen, excessive violations to this rule will result in administrative action. #
  3. Members

    1. As a member of, you will be held accountable for your actions and your actions alone. #
    2. Members will not be allowed to share accounts, and this is because it would be very hard for the staff to tell if you were sharing your account or if it was stolen. #
    3. Check for open topics. Before posting a new topic, please check to see if there is already a topic open on the subject. By doing so you may find your answer in a timely manner. #
